Private Duty Live In | Caregiver | CNA

BrightStar Care of Naperville / Oakbrook is looking for a live in caregiver.

Position details:

• You will live with the client until they end care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLS)
• Assist client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care. Report any changes you observed to office and nurse.
• Assist with light housekeeping such as laundry, meal preparation, and keeping clients home neat and tidy.
• Preferred drivers- able to take client to appointments or to do errands.
• Okay with working with pets. - not mandatory

Caregiver qualifications:

• Excellent communication and de-escalating skills
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, twist, push and pull. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's and dementia
• Must be 18 years old or older
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
• Experience with Hoyer lifts, transferring and gait belts
• Must be a driver

Schedule:

• Full time
• Live in
• 7 days a week
