Join the NASA CPSS team at Glenn Research Center as a Senior Scheduler supporting ATF. This position is located in Cleveland, OH.
Develop comprehensive program/project schedules using MS Project through logic development and/or evaluation of logic networks, WBS, and WBS dictionaries. Gather and input status/forecast changes to project schedules. Conduct "what-if" scenario analysis and workaround planning to provide project management with resource and schedule projections. Conduct ongoing project schedule reporting and maintain project schedule archives. Support the formulation, implementation, and tracking of integrated master schedules (IMS). Coordinate project schedules, ensuring alignment with NASA Procedural Requirements (NPR 7120.5 and NPR 7120.8) and related handbooks. Participate in the GRC Schedule Working Group and NASA's Schedule Community of Practice (SCoPe), contributing to meetings, sharing lessons learned, and providing scheduling-related training and demonstrations. Produce a monthly report documenting all findings, concerns and recommendations to the NASA PM.
Experience performing probabilistic schedule risk analysis and schedule health analysis. Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. Advanced experience using Microsoft Project. Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools. Advanced understanding of GAO Best Practices for Project Schedules a plus. Basic understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles. Prior NASA/aerospace experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credentials preferred. Membership with PMI or the College of Performance Management (CPM) is a plus.
