Job Description

Hourly Pay Range:

$40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position : Registered Nurse Navigator Oncology
  • Location : NCH - Infusion Clinic - Arlington Heights, IL
  • Full Time | 40 hours/week
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, no weekends or holidays

What you will do:

  • Functions on the multidisciplinary team as an advocate, educator, and counselor for oncology patients.
  • Responsible for ensuring all patients with an oncology diagnosis receive quality and comprehensive services.
  • Coordinates patient care throughout the continuum in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Services as a clinical resource with expertise in hematology/oncology care management.
  • Serves as a liaison throughout the facility and in the community regarding services provided for this unique patient population.
  • Provides expert nursing care, which includes: consultation, direct clinical practice, education, and research

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, required . Master's Degree in Nursing, preferred .
  • License: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license, required .
  • Certification: BLS/CPR issued by the American Heart Association, required . Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of previous clinical oncology experience, required .
