Job Description

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Grants Manager for a mission-driven nonprofit. This is a fully onsite role based in Pembroke Park, FL.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Grants Manager will lead the organization’s grant-seeking efforts, cultivating relationships with private foundations, corporations, and government agencies. This role manages the full grants cycle, from proposal development to reporting, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at building strong partnerships to secure funding.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and oversee all grant-seeking activities, including research, proposal writing, submission, and reporting
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with private foundations, corporate partners, and government funders
  • Track grant deadlines and ensure timely submissions and compliance with funder requirements
  • Mentor and collaborate with the Grants Coordinator on projects and proposals
  • Analyze and report on grant outcomes and funding opportunities
  • Support organizational fundraising strategies and special projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated success in securing funding from private foundations, corporations, and government agencies
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar and AP style adherence
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple deadlines
  • Proven ability to collaborate with teams and mentor junior staff
  • Skilled in using Windows-based software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and learning customized internal systems
