RT Environmental Services, Inc. is looking for experienced Environmental Scientists, Geologists, and Engineers to join our team. We are currently looking for qualified individuals in our King of Prussia, PA office to fill roles as Staff Scientists/Geologists/Engineers and Assistant Project Managers. RT has been providing environmental consulting/engineering services to our clients since 1988 and has been under new ownership since 2020. RT is a growing firm, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company are always available. RT maintains offices in Canonsburg (Western) and King of Prussia (Eastern) Pennsylvania, and in Swedesboro, New Jersey.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in geology, environmental science, or related scientific discipline and 2-7 years of technical experience in the environmental consulting/engineering industry.
• Must be detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate with clients and other staff, and prepare technical field notes and reports.
• Must demonstrate the ability to multi-task and possess prioritization skills.
• Attention to detail, quality of work, and the ability to take initiative and make technical decisions is a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Initial 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER and/or 8 Hour Refresher is a plus.

Staff Scientists/Geologists/Engineers

• Must demonstrate the ability to work outdoors and oversee subcontractors in all weather conditions.
• Must demonstrate the ability to conduct fieldwork including site inspections, soil and groundwater sampling, geophysical oversight, monitoring well installations, and other environmental remediation and monitoring fieldwork activities.
• Must demonstrate an ability to communicate with supervisors and project managers from the field and possess the ability to make informed decisions. Technical writing/grammar skills are necessary.
• Prior experience with conducting Phase I and Phase II ESA’s, ACM, and Indoor Air Sampling a plus.

Project Managers

• Technical Report writing skills are a must. Experience conducting Phase I and Phase II ESA's and reviewing said reports is required
• Experience with PA Act 2 Land Recycling and NJ Site Remediation Projects is a plus. Must demonstrate ability to prepare technical reports including Site Characterization Reports, Remedial Investigation Reports, Remedial Action Reports, etc.
• Must demonstrate professionalism and ability to communicate appropriately with clients and staff.
• Experience overseeing staff and preparing proposals is a plus.
