EDM Data Analyst - Insurance

We are seeking an EDM Data Analyst with experience in insurance, risk analytics, and enterprise data management to support data analysis, reporting, and solution delivery for insurance clients. The role focuses on analyzing policy, claims, underwriting, and risk data, leveraging data warehouses, AWS cloud platforms, and data modeling to generate insights and support business and product decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze insurance data (policies, claims, premiums, underwriting, customer data)
Perform risk analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and early warning indicators
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data insights
Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools
Conduct data validation, quality checks, and data mapping activities
Support ETL/ELT processes, data migration, and API/database validation
Document data definitions, business rules, and logic
Design and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics
Utilize AWS services (S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue) for data processing and analytics

Required Skills

Strong SQL and Excel skills
Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
Knowledge of insurance workflows and risk concepts
Hands-on experience with data warehouse design (fact/dimension models)
Familiarity with AWS analytics services
Experience in data modeling and data normalization techniques
