Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: days Employment Type: Travel Ultrasound Technician Traveler Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, every other weekend, 4 shifts per week Location: 1300 Roanoke Ave, Riverhead, NY 11901 Facility Details: 145-bed community hospital Responsibilities: Perform 10-15 echocardiograms per day, shared among 2-3 technicians. Utilize GE E90 and E95 ultrasound machines. Conduct intraprocedural transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) at the bedside. Handle TEE and probe processing. Qualifications: Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI; RDCS is highly preferred. 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a hospital setting. Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities. Ability to work in a robust echo department with 7-day per week coverage. Uniform: Navy blue scrubs provided by the hospital.
