Overview
Sterile Processing Technician (Certified) – Seaside, Oregon. This travel assignment starts on 08/10/2026 and spans several weeks with a 4x10 day shift. Weekly pay ranges from $987 to $1,051, with guaranteed hours of 0.0. The role supports campus-wide sterile processing, including clinics and endoscope reprocessing, in a small care campus setting. 1st timers are welcome. Epic charting experience is required for this assignment, along with a steril processing certification and BLS.

Responsibilities
- Reprocess endoscopes using automated endoscope reprocessors (AER) or manual cleaning, with high-level disinfection procedures
- Decontaminate, sterilize, and assemble instrument trays and case carts; manage loaner trays and implant handling
- Perform steam sterilization and associated sterilization testing/monitoring (BI, chemical indicators)
- Maintain sterile processing area, follow infection control and safety protocols, and ensure compliant documentation
- Use Epic charting to document workflows, instrument tracking, and case cart activity
- Provide general sterile processing support and assist with instrument handling for surgical sets as needed

Requirements
- Sterile processing certification (CBSPD or IAHCSMM/related national certification)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years sterile processing experience
- Endoscope processing experience (AER/manual cleaning, high-level disinfection)
- Epic charting experience required
- Must have a vehicle for assignment; compliance requirements include SSN and DOB for background checks and two professional references
- Pre-start mandatory training (~16 hours average) prior to start; ability to commit to scheduling and holiday requirements (see compliance notes)
