Job Description:
A leading Organ and Tissue Bank in the Norcross area is seeking a dedicated Transplant Coordinator Manager . These team members are responsible for providing high-level operational and administrative support to ensure efficient donation, recovery, and compliance processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support assigned staff through hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, performance evaluations, and recommendations for recognition, promotion, or disciplinary action.
  • Oversee work planning and administrative approvals, ensuring adequate staffing, policy compliance, and smooth daily operations.
  • Participate in the Administrator on Call schedule and provide backup support to the Director of Recovery Services.
  • Serve on committees, contribute to policy and protocol revisions, and support ongoing staff training, competency development, and compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with QA/PI leadership to design and implement performance improvement projects and support OPO QAPI efforts.
  • Assist in monitoring trainee performance and ensuring adherence to departmental standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • BSN, RN, PA, or equivalent with four years of experience as a procurement coordinator, in critical care nursing, or in a comparable role; prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Proven leadership abilities with strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal staff and external hospital or agency personnel.
  • Maintains a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base hourly pay rate for this position is $115,000 - $120,000 salary, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
