SEMN Summer Student Nurse Internship - SNI job at Mayo Clinic. Cannon Falls, MN. City: Cannon Falls State: MN Remote: No Department: Nursing Responsibilities The Student Nurse Intern (SNI) performs delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care with the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). The designated tasks are those taught in the academic program and/or orientation, and where the individual has demonstrated competence to a designated RN. Qualifications Completion of two semesters in an Associate's in Nursing program, or completion of the junior year in a Bachelor's in Nursing program, is required prior to the start. Candidates must not have graduated from the Nursing program and should be graduating between December 2026 and June 2027. Enrollment in the MN summer internship course is required prior to start. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association is required prior to start. Compensation and Benefits Exemption Status: Nonexempt Compensation: $22.65 per hour Benefits Eligible: No Schedule Full Time Hours/Pay Period: 60-72 Schedule Details: 12‑hour rotating Day/Night shifts Weekend Schedule: Every 3rd weekend Internship Dates: June 1, 2026 through August 7, 2026.
