Permanent Makeup Artist

The Lash Lounge 4680 Windhaven Pkwy, Ste 150 in The Colony, TX is looking for a highly skilled, licensed and experienced Permanent Makeup Artist to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong artistic eye, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with our prestigious clientele to achieve their desired look.

Job Overview

As a Permanent Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for providing a range of cosmetic tattooing services, including but not limited to Nano Brows, Microshading, and various lip and eyeliner services. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide expert consultations, and deliver high-quality, long-lasting results.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of permanent makeup procedures, including Nano Brows, Microshading, lip services, and eyeliner services
• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their desired outcomes
• Create custom designs and map out procedures for each client
• Provide touch-up services and corrections, including work on procedures done by other artists
• Maintain a clean and sterile work environment
• Stay updated on the latest techniques and trends in permanent makeup
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations

Required Qualifications

• Valid permanent makeup/cosmetic tattooing certification recognized in the state of Texas
• Minimum 3 years of experience in permanent makeup, specifically in:
• Nano Brow techniques
• Microshading
• Lip enhancement services
• Eyeliner services
• Brow mapping
• Client consultations
• Foreign touch-ups and corrections
• Excellent artistic skills and color theory knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work with a diverse clientele and adapt to individual needs
• Knowledge of proper sterilization and sanitation practices
• Familiarity with Texas state regulations regarding permanent makeup and cosmetic tattooing

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in advanced permanent makeup techniques
• Experience working in a high-end salon or medical spa setting
• Portfolio showcasing a range of permanent makeup work
