About the Role:

Join our passionate team at Loudoun Pediatric Dentistry as a Pediatric Dental Assistant! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a positive dental experience for children, ensuring their comfort and care during visits.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe environment.
• Help manage patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Educate children and parents on proper dental hygiene practices.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Provide compassionate support to young patients to ease their anxiety.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children effectively.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to rotate between Leesburg and Ashburn office are required.
• Knowledge of dental software and patient management systems.
• Current X-ray, BLS/CPR certification are required.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
• Positive attitude and a passion for working with children.
