Job Description

Duties:

• You will remove, prepare and apply a variety of complex and advanced paint coatings.
• You will prepare surfaces and remove corrosion on aircrafts.
• You will compound and process ingredients to obtain bulk rubber.
• You will work from drawings and technical directives under guidance.
• You will prepare equipment with high steam pressure and water.

Qualifications:

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK WITHOUT SUPERVISION 1) Working from drawings, manuals, technical directives, instructions, and at times, under guidance of higher-graded Painter, 2) Preparing aircraft, engines, ground support equipment and components for finish using various chemicals, detergents and solvents in conjunction with high pressure steam and water, 3) Performing strip operations such as chemical and plastic media blasting, masking, applying chemical conversion to bare substrates, identifying various types of corrosion and treat in accordance with technical information, 4) Mixing and applies various paints/proper finishes to process aircraft, aircraft engine structures, components, assemblies and/or subassemblies.
