Order Picker


Express Employment on 61st and Center is recruiting for Order Pickers to join a distribution warehouse in Southwest Omaha!


Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: 2nd shift
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: $18


Job Duties:
• Retrieve and pick products from warehouse shelves with forklifts according to order specifications.
• Verify the accuracy of picked items by comparing them to order sheets or electronic systems.
• Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
• Pack and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring all items are securely packed and labeled correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
• Follow all company procedures and guidelines for handling and storing products.
• Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (50lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
