divh2Medical Materiel Specialist Level I/h2pLocation: Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, AZ/ppThe Medical Materiel Specialist - Level I shall include, but are not limited to general warehousing tasks, customer support, requisition, shipping, receiving, building medical kits, inventory management, Quality Assurance (QA) and cargo preparation and deployment, to include medical controlled items stored in a secure location, operation of various materials handling equipment, and utilizing updating DoD MMIS records./ph3Essential Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliResponsible for the logistical oversight and inventory management of the 27 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise to ensure precise SLEP/DMLSS statistics and effectively communicate all SLEP related updates to affected units, AFMED, and NGB/SGX./liliConduct monthly reviews, and provides monthly reports to the COR, of SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program compliance./liliContractor also functions as Logical SLEP coordinator./liliConduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance./liliTrack and document the usage of medical materials./liliAssist in the procurement of medical supplies and equipment./liliThe position is designed for a Medical Materiel professional with a skillset critical to performing program management and oversight, effective communication at all levels, integrated collaboration, and strategic readiness reporting./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulh3Travel/h3ulli10% to 25% Travel is required./li/ulh3Work Schedule/h3ulliTo be determined./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliHigh School diploma or equivalent./liliMinimum 2 years of logistics field experience (preferably in Medical Logistics); be familiar with, and able to navigate/utilize, MMIS./liliKnowledge of medical supplies and equipment is preferred./liliMust provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States without an employer sponsored visa./liliMust be able to pass client background screening for security clearance./liliMust possess a valid drivers license and maintain an acceptable driving record./liliForklift certification required or ability to obtain certification upon hire./li/ulh3Salary/h3ulli$19.40/hour + $5.09 HW (Health and Welfare) Hourly benefit/li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliWork is performed mainly in a warehouse or distribution center./liliThe area may be noisy, dusty, or involve exposure to fumes from forklifts or other equipment./liliTemperature can vary some warehouses are climate-controlled, others may be hot in summer and cold in winter./li/ulh3Physical Demands/h3ulliRegularly lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing 2550 lbs (sometimes up to 75 lbs with assistance)./liliProlonged standing and walking throughout the shift (often 812 hours)./liliFrequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching to pick up or place materials./liliMay involve using ladders, step stools, or order pickers to access shelves./liliRepeated motion of scanning, sorting, or packaging of materials./li/ulh3Benefits/h3ulli401K Employer Matching/liliPaid Time Off (PTO)/liliHolidays/liliHealth Insurance/liliDental Insurance/liliVision Insurance/liliEmployer-paid Life Insurance/liliEmployer-paid ADD Insurance/liliEmployee-paid voluntary benefits/liliEmployee development resources/li/ulh3Equal Opportunity Employer/h3pCapital i is an equal opportunity employer.
