Mail Production Assistant

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Mail House Production Assistant to join our team in West Columbia, SC. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of a busy mail production facility, assisting with bulk mail processing and ensuring materials are prepared accurately and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build experience in a production or manufacturing environment—no prior experience is required, as we provide hands-on training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily bulk mail processing, including sorting, staging, and preparing mail for distribution
• Support production workflows to ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met
• Operate basic production equipment and follow established procedures
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of mail batches
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and operational guidelines
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
• Assist with additional tasks as needed to support overall facility operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying noise levels (hearing protection provided)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing/production setting with exposure to machinery and varying noise levels
• Standing, walking, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
• Safety equipment provided as needed
