Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Elk Grove Village, IL. In this hybrid role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of domestic freight for their clients across the U.S. This position offers a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, with opportunities to grow your career in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. Package: Competitive salary of $60,000/year Hybrid work schedule: mix of office and remote work Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Career development opportunities in a growing industry Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage domestic freight shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate service. Book and schedule trucks, carriers, and other transport partners in line with customer needs and cost objectives. Track and trace shipments proactively, providing status updates to clients and resolving any transit issues promptly. Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, etc.). Communicate professionally with carriers, vendors, and clients to maintain strong working relationships. Monitor carrier performance and negotiate rates as needed. Ensure compliance with all company policies and applicable transportation regulations. Collaborate with internal teams to support overall operations and customer satisfaction. Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in domestic transportation, freight forwarding, or logistics operations preferred. Knowledge of trucking, intermodal, and domestic freight processes and regulations. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
