Grants Manager

Stand Together is a philanthropic community that helps America's boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country's biggest problems. We provide our partners with access to resources including funding, thought leadership, a network of peers, and a playbook for applying proven principles to transform lives and society.

As a Grants Manager you will lead process improvements, build capabilities, and drive operational excellence on a portfolio of grants supporting social change entrepreneurs. In this role you will build relationships and collaborate with diverse internal stakeholders within a growing team. You will apply a detail-oriented project management background to identify gaps and drive solutions that result in transformational change.

Within this new role on the Stand Together Trust team you will support a portfolio or current and future partnerships focused modernizing and reforming the US health care system, supporting initiatives that empower individuals to take ownership of their health and unleash a new era of medical advances that will benefit us all.

This role is essential to our success in keeping pace with the demand for our support and will help build out a team who are focused internally on operational and relationship excellence.

How You Will Contribute
  • Build out operational excellence for diverse and complex grants that span across organizations, to ensure we are the preferred partner in philanthropy
  • Drive project management for robust grant portfolios, coordinating with multiple internal capabilities to support grant-making and advance our organization's vision
  • Use team best practices, and develop new ones, to facilitate program evaluation that supports effective investment decisions
  • Collaborate to analyze grant funding opportunities and participate in the grant recommendation process
What You Will Bring
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, coordination, and grant management
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to define and communicate what is needed to advance processes
  • High degree of humility, integrity, and professionalism to collaborate with a wide variety of different audiences and personalities
  • Database experience, ideally with Salesforce
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect
Standout Candidates Will Bring
  • Knowledge of, and enthusiasm for building better health care for all that starts with personalization and choice
What We Offer
  • Competitive benefits: Enjoy a 6% 401(k) match with immediate vesting, flexible time off, comprehensive health and dental plans, plus wellness and mental health support through Peloton and Talkspace.
  • A meaningful career: Join a passionate community of over 1,400 employees dedicated to improving lives and driving innovative solutions to complex social challenges.
  • Commitment to growth: Thrive in a non-hierarchical environment that empowers employees to discover, develop and apply their unique talents.
  • Competitive compensation: Our approach rewards the value you create through competitive salaries and bonus opportunities, allowing you to share in the success you help drive.

Our values are deeply rooted in Principle Based Management (PBM), a framework guided by the principles that drive human progress, such as dignity, openness, and bottom-up empowerment. PBM empowers our employees to be entrepreneurial, to innovate, and to continually drive transformation.

We believe diversity fuels creativity, broadens knowledge, and helps drive success, and that is why we're proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and strive to treat all employees and applicants with honesty, dignity, respect and sensitivity.
