Job Description: Fiber Technician 

We are seeking a skilled Fiber Technician to join our team. The Fiber Technician will be responsible for overseeing the complete manufacturing process of glass fiber optic strands, from the raw material stage through to the component level. This role involves ensuring that all products meet the specifications and quality standards set by various customers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate and monitor fiber production equipment, ensuring proper handling of raw materials and adherence to safety protocols. 
• Manufacture glass fiber optic strands according to customer specifications and industry standards. 
• Perform quality checks at each stage of the production process to ensure compliance with specified tolerances. 
• Maintain accurate production records, documenting batch details and quality assessments. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues in the fiber production process to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency. 
• Collaborate with engineering teams to refine and improve manufacturing processes. 

Qualifications: 

• Experience in fiber optic manufacturing or a related field is preferred. 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance. 
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and production guidelines. 
• Familiarity with fiber optic production equipment and processes.
