We are seeking a Director of Property Management to join a growing, entrepreneurial owner-operator that is redefining urban multifamily living. This is a rare opportunity for a hands‑on, strategic leader to build and scale a property management platform while overseeing a rapidly expanding portfolio. This firm specializes in acquiring and developing apartments in underserved urban neighborhoods anchored by major medical centers and universities. With a fully integrated platform spanning development, design, acquisitions, asset management, and property management, the company takes a long‑term ownership approach and fosters a collaborative, innovative, and accountable culture. Key Responsibilities Build, lead, and scale the property management division across a growing, multi‑market portfolio Oversee operations for 2,000+ units across Pittsburgh and Baltimore, with expansion into Washington, DC and beyond Lead the onboarding, lease‑up, and stabilization of new acquisitions, including upcoming DC assets Conduct a comprehensive operational audit to evaluate current performance, identify gaps, and implement improvements Develop and implement scalable systems, processes, and best practices to support continued growth Hire, mentor, and develop high‑performing on‑site and regional teams Partner closely with ownership and Asset Management to drive strategy and execution Leverage data and technology to enhance operational efficiency and decision‑making Ensure an exceptional resident experience by continually improving service delivery and community engagement Maintain a strong on‑site presence—this is a hands‑on leadership role, not desk‑based Qualifications Proven experience leading property management operations within a market‑rate multifamily portfolio (luxury preferred) Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing teams Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically Highly data‑driven and comfortable leveraging technology to improve performance Experience managing across multiple markets and asset types is a plus Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment This is an on‑site position that can be located in Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, or Pittsburgh, PA. #J-18808-Ljbffr
