Duties & Responsibilities

As a Construction Laborer, your primary responsibilities will focus on maintaining a safe, clean, and organized construction site to ensure smooth project operations. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Performing general site cleanup and debris removal, including sweeping, raking, and collecting waste materials.
• Assisting skilled tradespersons with various tasks, such as material handling, equipment setup, and basic tool operation.
• Loading and unloading construction materials, ensuring they are stored safely and efficiently.
• Preparing work areas by setting up barricades, signage, and safety cones as directed.
• Operating basic hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Assisting with the demolition of non-load-bearing structures and removal of old materials.
• Transporting tools and equipment to and from work areas as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and organized tool and equipment storage area.
• Adhering strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
