About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to oversee and direct its information security strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust security posture, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems. This role involves leading the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards, as well as managing security awareness and training programs. The CISO will also be tasked with identifying and mitigating security risks, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Applicants for the CISO position at the company should have a proven track record in information security and risk management. A deep understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS, is essential. The role requires experience in security architecture, threat intelligence, and incident response. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption. A relevant security certification, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, is highly desirable. The CISO must also possess excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
