About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Associate Vice President for Technology Services. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level administrator with a robust background in information technology and administration, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and complex educational environment. The CIO will be responsible for leading the strategic and tactical coordination of technology to support the institution's mission and goals. This includes overseeing technology planning, implementation, and maintenance, as well as leading a shared-services technology model. Applicants for the CIO and Associate Vice President position should have a Master's degree and a minimum of 5 years' progressive administrative experience in leading IT organizations. The successful candidate will be adept at fostering partnerships, integrating data into decision-making, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Experience in higher education or a similar complex environment is preferred, as is a background in AI-driven tools and platforms. The CIO will also be involved in departmental realignment, staff development, and will have the opportunity to shape the future of technology utilization in the college, with a focus on enhancing student learning and success.
