Job Purpose
The Administrative Analyst provides support to one or more departments assisting with administrative duties, data entry, data collection, writing, research, and other tasks as needs arise.
This role is ideal for a highly adaptable, detail-oriented individual who can quickly learn new processes, handle varied assignments, and contribute to the organization’s operations with professionalism and a strong work ethic.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist multiple departments with data collection, entry, and verification.
Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for internal and external use.
Conduct basic research, analysis, and documentation to support projects and programs.
Track and maintain records, project files, and departmental documentation.
Support team members with administrative tasks, scheduling, and coordination.
Participate in position specific instruction and orientation necessary to perform assigned
duties and use clients systems and quickly learn new systems, processes, and procedures.
Perform other administrative and analytical support duties consistent with this
role/assignment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong work ethics, professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and adapt to changing priorities.
Basic analytical and research skills; able to collect, organize, and interpret data.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
Willingness to take on a variety of tasks across departments.
Minimum Education and Experience
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in business, public administration, finance, planning, STEM, or a related field; OR equivalent work experience.
Some experience in data analysis, research, reporting, or administrative support is preferred but not required.
Willingness and ability to learn quickly on the job.
This is a one-year contract position, 40 hours per week, and a possible permanent position.
